| | Another Fairmont season has gone by. If I were Celine Dionne, I'd be singing, "These are the special times". Aside from loosing on 24 hours due to the flu...I was good to go. Also can I mention a full roast beef dinner, an incredible breakfast and smoked turkey dinner as well. It's funny...when I'm sick...I think I'm dieing and I was singing the death scenes from any play/opera/musical I knew in my tiny "sick" closet (couldn't be near the baby...how sad!). My sister told me that I gave her all my money...and then I told her to make sure I split whatever I had between both of my sisters...and then I gave Calista my baton. I also compliment everyone as apparently I figure it's the last time I will see them. Very funny. My mom and I in the vest and touque I gave her for Christmas by the waterfall!
One of my favorite families! Calista, Lori and Darin
My sister Stacy on a hike
A VERY windy day. We could lean in the wind and it would keep us up. I'd seen nothing like it before and I'm from Lethbridge.
They are always like this....
A Tyler and Danielle gift...my first snowboard. I think I might be sick in this picture.
Our snowman with honeydew eyeballs. Carla and I decided to make a children's video for Calista on building a snowman and it was full of Christian conflict, resolution and big intense happy smiles like above. I think it could sell at Blessing's. I'm not kidding. We were pretty funny.
Taking Lee cross-country skiing the lazy way. Rode the chairlift up the hill, found the path and went down. The ladies in the ski shop made us feel stupid and made us tie shoe stings on our skis on the lift so when we got off the lift we'd look and feel like fools.
Stephanie, Mike, Andrew, Tyler and Danielle. Right after some cross country. This is Tyler's favorite sport now. He loves it. He's quite passionate about it Mike and Stephanie taught us this addicting dice game which is basically sort of like "Deal or no Deal" but instead of that being a TV show, it brings the drama right into your living room. I can't handle games like this...I get too greedy and lose. I think I hit a new low when my 93 year old "safe playing" grandma beat me twice. Back to school now. Feel disorientated. Give me three weeks... |
